Lun

The idea of LUN was born in 2018 but it becomes reality in 2020 in a very particular way, since it is not the typical band formed by friends who simply got together one day and decided to make a band, but rather it was the union of five strangers for the love of music.
The year 2020 passes, and the guitarist Ader Castillo contacts Allan Batz (who is the other guitarist), and tells him about some musical ideas he has, who without much thought agrees to form a musical alliance, likewise in parallel they contact Onassis Colindres the drummer of the band, who is shown some models and is also interested in the project and joins, in turn Onassis contacts Juan Ávila (the vocalist) who in the same way is shown the models and also agrees to form part of the group and finally Allan contacts Jeffrey Reyes the bassist, who upon hearing part of one of the songs agrees to be part of LUN and this is how this great community arises.

Charlie Hewitt

Charlie Hewitt, Summit, MS native, defies categorization – especially where his music is concerned – but the most accurate description would be “balladeer par excellence.”  He has been playing guitar and singing professionally, as well as writing songs, off and on for over 55 years (since 1966)…many Pike Countians remember his regular performances at The Rafters at Lake Dixie Springs “back in the day.”  Early in Charlie’s musical career (1966) he performed on Bourbon Street as part of the Cellar Dwellers trio, then later (early 1970s) toured as one of the Hewitt Brothers, appearing at Holiday Inns and other venues throughout the South with his extremely talented cousin, Jim Hewitt.

Slanderus

Slanderus is a progressive metal band straight out of the Inland Empire, with members from Eastvale, Ontario and Mira Loma. Founded and formed by guitarist (and backing vocalist), Jason Kennedy, who also creates the music that is overloaded with heavy, yet intricate guitar solos- mesmerizing riffs and flawless breakdowns. Drummer, JJ Gawrich, plays his set like it’s a part of him- with an ease that says “this comes more naturally to me than speaking”- every count is melodic, yet powerful and compelling, played with an unparalleled passion. Bassist, Bryan Porter, lets loose on his bass guitar with fat, yet mellow and authoritative riffs- commanding a rhythmic groove. Last, but certainly not least, Allen Alamillo- lead vocalist, uses painfully honest lyrics in combination with an innately sincere tone and impressive pitches that just pulls you in. Round off all this talent, with the energy that they pack into every one of their shows, you’re in for one hell of a night!

Charlie smith

I’m Charlie Smith a singer-songwriter from Hampshire, UK. The sound of my latest release ‘I just want to sleep’ is chillingly sweet, raw, and emotive. In keeping my honest approach of recording with no unnecessary effects. Focusing on chords and melody above all else. I’m proud of this release not because it’s perfect but because it tells a story.
