Wayne Hallett

Wayne Hallett is a singer/songwriter/musician originally from Rock County, WI, who paid his dues playing the Midwest club circuit in the Classic Rock bands Starstruck, and Paradox, then later in an acoustic duo and acoustic single act. Wayne learned much from his bandmates and other fellow musician friends while assisting them with their recording projects and gigs as well. During periodic breaks from the gypsy lifestyle, he began concentrating on composing his own songs and developing his own vocal and guitar playing style. Wayne made the big move to the Nashville, TN area in the early Nineties where he performed at songwriter’s nights, resumed revamped incarnations of an acoustic duo and his acoustic single act, co-wrote with other artists, and recorded demos of his own material. Jangled Web is the tile of his full length CD comprised of ten cool original guitar-driven melodic Pop/Rock songs, completed July, 2011. It reportedly contains “Plenty of strong & clever lyrics, catchy riffs & pleasant harmonies.” Listeners have also alleged that Wayne and his music have an “Excellent tone & great vibe.” The individual tracks could be described as Adult Alternative/Janglepop/Powerpop or Pop/Rock with hints of Beatles, Moody Blues, Eagles, and Tom Petty influences. Jangled Web is available in both CD and download format at the usual Internet outlets including ITunes, CDBaby, Amazon, etc. Wayne’s current projects include shaping material for a new album project, demo sessions, co-writing, playing live in the area, and striving to get radio airplay, and TV, radio, and movie soundtrack placement for his songs. His latest single The Long Road Out Of Nashville was just released in July 2022.
