  • Marcus Casburn

    Marcus Casburn is an accomplished singer and piano player. He began his musical journey singing in church and became highly involved in high school choir and band. As a senior, Marcus was honored to be selected as a member of the Texas All State Choir. After graduation he attended Texas Wesleyan University on a full scholarship as a Music Major. Marcus toured the country with a number of successful Texas bands, including “Top Secret”, “Prime Time” and most notably “The Casburn Brothers Band”, a joint venture with his cousin Terry Casburn. Terry went on to become a key member of the nationally known East Texas Band “Mason Dixon” and Marcus … went to Vegas! Shortly after arriving in Las Vegas he was hired by Wayne Newton to be a featured vocalist, keyboard player and announcer. While performing with Mr. Newton and some of the best musicians in the world, Marcus had the opportunity to travel nationally and internationally and performed on the “Arsenio Hall Show”, “Nashville Now” and “The Grand Ole Opry”. In the years that followed Marcus performed with many national artist including Collin Raye, Linda Davis, Bryan White, Gary Morris and B.J.Thomas, to mention a few. With his Deep Smokey voice and versatile keyboard accompaniment style, Marcus will entertain you and your patrons in a first class professional manner. In addition to his musical performance career, Marcus was a jingle singer in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area. Shortly after moving to Las Vegas in the early 90’s, Marcus was encouraged to do voice-over sessions at several local production companies. Subsequently, he was pursued to join the roster of an International Production Company that was opening a new branch studio in Las Vegas. He accepted. During the following years, Marcus has honed his skills, performing over a thousand commercials, narrations and corporate videos. His voice has been described as the gentle giant or the voice of God. Coming to the voice acting business via the vocal music industry, he has a broad range of tone, timber and texture available for use in a variety of styles, accents, attitudes and characters. He also sings in all of these styles. His voice characters are truly authentic. From Deep, Smooth and Sexy to Rough, Raspy and Rowdy, Happy Jamaican Mon to the Guy Next Door, Marcus will bring your projects’ characters to life in a relaxed, creative and professional manner.

After a long battle with addiction his musical goals changed. Before, he wrote songs that lacked purpose.     The Flying Cruisers is a band with a distinctive sound, which blurs the lines between heavy alternative rock and other styles. In fact, the group’s music blurs the lines between a wide range of influences, while still retaining a direct and decisive sound with teeth and sharp claws. From the immediacy of blues-rock, to the melodic appeal of some of the best old-school hard rock, anything goes. BIG DAY is a collection of songs written during the experience that was 2020 and recorded in 2021, at Sonic One Studios. Capturing the retro sound of the 70’s, ‘Big Day’s songs examine our lives to date, colourful experiences lived through, and the place we call home. With a tinge of country-rock, the creative side of the band is based on a lifetime of gigging in pubs, clubs, and venues all over the U.K. Story-telling songs rooted firmly in Welsh culture and Welsh social history summon up real characters from their hometown and live create a powerful stage presence. Pollytunnel Pirates’ sound has been compared to the likes of Slade, Man, Stereophonics and The Eagles.     Madcap Global SWND is proud to announce the release on its SWND Records imprint the release of the debut album by Zacthelocust. After years and years of writing songs, but never having the opportunity to take them beyond home recorded demos, Keryn Isaac felt it was time to call upon some musicians from the South Wales music scene and start taking things seriously. The resulting album, ‘Years in the Making’, proves just how serious a talent Keryn Isaac is. Created over 2020 and ’21, at Channel View and Redrocks recording studios, comprising 10 songs of punk rock, some of which were written over 15 years ago, ‘Years in the Making’ is a powerful commercial coming of age for Keryn, showcasing his gift for mashing influences including Green Day, Metallica, Blink 182, Rancid, The Offspring and The Clash, Nirvana, Sum 41 and many, many more.Now with a firm lineup featuring Archie Holland and Ashley Turner have joined ZacTheLocust, and with gigs lined up starting with a debut at The Swansea Fringe Festival in October, Zacthelocust’s big choruses and melody are poised to take those demos all the way.

  • Chris chambers

    Chris is a veteran English songwriter and musician from Leicestershire in the UK, working in the Indie Folky field. For many years he has played the clubs and pubs in the English midlands, and sometimes further afield. He plays acoustic and electric guitars, dobro, weissenborn, mandolin, and lap steel. His last song CD, “One Fine Morning”, received great reviews, and international radio play. “The Quiet Hour”, a collection of solo acoustic guitar instrumental pieces, was released in March 2019. Another similar album, “Between Two Worlds” was released in March 2020. In the last few years he’s also been one half of the now defunct Prog Folk duo ‘The Secret Magpies’. A new song single ‘Flight of the Swans’ was released on April 1, 2021, and a solo guitar instrumental album ‘Ammonite’ will be released on November 1st, 2021.

    Backstory: March 2020 in Abergwili Village Hall, with the country about to go into Covid Lockdown, Martin Richards celebrates his 60th birthday – the hall was a rehearsal room 45 years before to a young, noisy, and inexperienced band – it was the height of the punk movement. The embryonic stage of a young band that became the rocking legend of the Carmarthen music scene.The surprise party brings old friends from all over the world. Martyn, leadsinger in the 1980’s, has suffered ill-health and his creativity has been sidelined.Scrapbooks of old are reminisced over and an old friend Stevie Stone, ex Extras drummer was inspired to take Martyn’s 40-year-old lyrics, get help from Scotland-based John Morgans, and Carmarthen-based Andy Edwards to create and record a new Extras song, the first of many more to come!

    After 20 years of sharing (and making!) music in San Diego, host/artist/photographer Cathryn Beeks now resides in the High Desert with her sound man hubby where she continues to support the San Diego music community (along with big bear and Joshua Tree and beyond!) with her Zoom song circles, web shows featuring artists and musicians, the monthly Listen Local Show podcast online, and the new radio show on 91.3FM Rez Radio. You can find Cathryn performing with her all female original folk rock band, Calamity (heycalamity.com), in San Diego and providing backing vocals and ukulele for The Desert Drama Club band in Joshua Tree.
